Local Planning and Inclusion
Hill Country MHDD Centers values local input from our community partners, individuals and families we serve, and our employees as we design organization and service delivery structures. The Community Advisory Council plays an important role in the planning process as they serve as a resource and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. Another avenue for input is the Community Partnership Questionnaire. We welcome your input as we all work together to provide the best services and support.
Local Planning Network Development
As part of the planning process, we create two local planning documents:
Consolidated Local Service Plan encompasses all the service planning requirements for Hill Country MHDD Centers as a Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA). Local planning is a collaborative activity, and the local service plan asks for information related to community stakeholder involvement in planning.
Local Provider Network Development Plan encompasses the configuration and development of the mental health provider network. The plan reflects local needs and priorities while maximizing choice and access to qualified service providers for the people we serve. The goal of this plan is for the Center to incorporate strategies to ensure continuous access to services while the Center increasingly expands the network of providers. The desired outcome is for individuals in services to have choice from among multiple service providers and for the Center to provide management and oversight of the provider network.
